The first season of the reality show “The Traitor” has been terrific. Audiences have shown their love for this reality TV show and Peacock has sensed success. Consequently, the news of the second season of The Traitor show is official. Even before another season, the reunion of all members of season 1 has been planned for the end of February 2023.

WHAT IS THE TRAITOR TV SHOW ABOUT?
If you haven’t watched The Traitor yet then you are missing one of the best things of 2023. This reality show is based on a very complex murder mystery format. It’s all about competition and survival in the Scottish castle. Have you heard about MasterChef, Bake Off Champion, American Idol winner, The Voice winner, and such? Nowadays, the winner of The Traitor is being predicted and that is because the game is more challenging than any we have seen in the past. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the world of this game is diverse because no one can be trusted. And, if you do then there are consequences like betrayal and heartbreak.
Twenty contestants have their eyes on the grand prize which is $250,000. The format is simple yet pretty much filled with mystery. So, it all begins with the contestants who are divided into two groups; “Faithful” and “Traitors”. In the show, nobody knows who is who because the Traitors have been handpicked by Alan himself. Their job is straight! Survive and don’t let anyone find out that they are Traitors and be an obstacle for Faithfuls. If any of the one Traitor reaches the finale then they can steal the money with every nasty trick. However, if they are caught by Faithfuls then they are removed. The plus point for the Faithful is that they can work as a team and reach the end with unity. Hence, teamwork can work out for both factions and is the key.
HOW IS THE TRAITOR PLAYED?
In this murder mystery, no one is killed in real. Instead, the world is different as the team of Traitors blend well among Faithfuls and don’t let reality unveil itself. Every night, the Traitor’s faction picks one Faithful with discussion and apparently murders him/her (basically, just abduction). No one finds out as the work is done in silence. In the morning, at the breakfast table, Faithfuls get to know who is missing and they can’t do anything. Throughout the day, planning and plotting are discussed and at the meeting, the decisions about the Shield and Banishment are made. The one with Shield can’t be murdered. If it is given to a traitor then obviously the Faithfuls made their worst decision. And, if awarded to a Faithful, then he/she is lucky to live another day. On the contrary, being the one banished sends the contestant into the trap. If the banished one is a Traitor then they lose a member and have to pick someone from the Faithful. But, they have to be extremely careful while doing that.
