Otis Milburn
Otis is a cool-headed boy who always feels stuck between the weird bullying school kids and his mother’s profession who is a sex therapist (her own sex life in actual was a disaster!). During the first few episodes, we all could see it clearly that Otis was an introverted and shy boy who hardly ever talked to anyone. However, when he opened up to Maeve, it was hard for her to absorb all the knowledge Otis had about sex, she instantly shared the idea of the “Sex Institute”.
Then, Otis became more confident with the things and managed to talk to the kids in the school. He openly discussed and solved the matters by sharing his intelligent bits of advice. Soon he was called the Sex Wizard in the school.
He enjoyed the status of relationships with many girls including Ruby, Maeve, and others. However, he was never a champ in relationships and always listened to his heart rather than his brain. You can take it in this way that Otis was an excellent teacher but an average student.
Aimee Gibbs
Aimee is one of the wealthiest girls in the school and her house and family are usually seen as her place is mostly the venue of parties. She was initially part of The Untouchables but we could always observe that she was never fit in it. Aimee has always been a caring, emotional, and sensitive girl; one who always considered others' perspectives and thoughts while acting.
She was the girl who always had a friendship with Maeve although no one else trusted Maeve. Aimee no doubt was a hot girl with whom every guy wanted to be with her. Due to this, she had been sexually harassed many times but recovered her composure with Maeve’s help.
Maeve Wiley
Running a sex therapy clinic wasn’t an easy task at all but Otis could never have run it successfully if Maeve wouldn’t have partnered with him. She is a tall and sleek girl with an attractive appearance but beware since she hardly ever lets anyone get too comfortable with her. The reason for her cold, sharp, arrogant, and introverted behavior lies in her past. Maeve has gone through a lot since her childhood and is always in need of money. She was the one who gave the idea of the clinic as well.
Her best friends included Aimee and Jackson, while later on Otis also got added to the list. Other kids in school usually mocked Maeve but instead of staying quiet, she revolted in the best way she could, shutting her opponents.
Both Otis and Maeve were interested in each other, but none confessed the feelings and so got involved with others. This never brought happiness in their lives and at the end of season 3, they were together. It was also very inspiring to watch Maeve pursuing her career, keeping her feelings aside for a better future.
Ruby Matthews
Ruby is the “Queen of Moordales” (or at least she believes to be!) She is beautiful, elegant, and seductive as well. She doesn’t like to be manipulated by others and is the leader of “the Untouchables” group. Along with her friends, Ruby mocks other kids especially those who try to reach up to her or compete with her in any way.
It is known by all that Ruby belongs to a rich family and is also very bossy and controlling in nature. Afterward, it was disclosed that the demeanor that Ruby had built in all these years was actually nothing but a bunch of lies. She was neither rich nor possessed this kind of nature, however, did all this to keep all away from her. It is arduous for her to express her emotions to anyone.
The strings of Ruby’s heart were only touched by Otis with whom she had a secret relationship. Sadly, in the end, they broke up because Otis never loved her. This was a setback for Ruby and also changes her completely.
