In "Yours Truly," join Dr. Brianna Ortiz, an ER physician who navigates the fallout from a difficult divorce and the challenges of her demanding profession. As the plot develops, what unfolds is a touching exchange of letters, where Jacob's notes become a source of solace and joy for Bri amidst her personal struggles (this obviously ticked all the damn boxes). Yet, fate has another surprise in store (I'm sure this will shock and amaze you all!), Jacob discovers he's a match for Bri's brother's kidney transplant—a selfless act that binds them together in an unexpected bond of gratitude and hope.

In a twist of events, Neither Bri nor Jacob expected the unexpected turn of events that led to her accepting to be Jacob's date to his brother's wedding (Alright, it's official). As they navigate through misunderstandings and unexpected developments, despite setbacks and confusion, Bri and Jacob are forced to face their developing feelings for each other and the undeniable chemistry that they have from fake dating to love to… a heck of a lot of things.

AND IT CONTINUES…

The story has loads of twists and turns, so much as the characters seem confused. However, the letters were phenomenal, their banter would make you smile, the representation of Jacob’s anxiety and Briana’s sweetness towards him would bring a tear to your eye and everything is perfect until we get into cyclical internal monologuing for hundreds of pages “there’s no way she likes me it’s fake” “there’s no way he likes me it’s a rebound” then the miscommunication dragged…and then a new conflict is introduced/new parts of a tragic backstory are unlocked with only 40 pages left in the novel. The pacing was off, and things got repetitive, but the characters were lovable, and it was compulsively readable with many heartwarming moments (you would surely smile at his acts of service).

It’s intense and emotional and so, so well written “Yours Truly" is a heartwarming tale of resilience, love, and the power of unexpected connections during life's challenges. Join Bri and Jacob as they embark on a journey of healing, forgiveness, and the possibility of a love that defies expectations.
