STORY OF THE SANDMAN
The titular character and protagonist of the series is Dream also called Morpheus. The story revolves around him as Dream is made of sand. Dream has certain control over minds and mortal beings as he can be a part of every life by being in their dreams. This way Dream can create and destruct living beings and possesses various powers which are apparently invincible. He has been made captive for centuries and wasn’t able to be set free. This isolation has altered Dream’s personality and ideology. Now, after years, Dream can leave the gates which kept him apart from the world, his family, and his kingdom.
After ages, Dream returns but soon realizes that things have gone out of control and his siblings are not the way he thought. In Endless, each of the ones has a kingdom in which they reign but actually, everything seems falling apart. The story soon reveals another sibling of this family known as Prodigal. Further, we also sight Egyptian gods and goddesses and Lucifer as well. The story of The Sandman gets more interesting when Dream begins to take charge of things that have gone all wrong.

Although he always keeps up the melancholic facial expressions but still we appreciate his goodwill towards mortal beings. Dream even fights villains (John Dee and the Corinthian) through his strength and is ready to sacrifice everything for co-existence. His relationship with sister Death is quite intimidating as she always guides him toward the right path when Dream needs her the most.

Desire is the elder sister of Dream and it is said there are very few beings as powerful as him in the cosmos. She can make anyone do anything as per her wish because all beings whether we talk about humans or angels, all are in her hands. It is the desires of beings that get them success and troubles. If desires and wishes are sane then humans reach the epitome while desires molded with greed often cause trouble. In the series, we get to see that Desire isn’t bad itself but humans corrupt it, and hence everything changes for them.
