Severus Snape - SPD

Severus Snape is the only character in the history of movies who has been rewarded with so much love and admiration. If anyone asks you about Professor Snape, what would you say? He was the rudest, arrogant, and emotionless person you have ever seen! Isn’t it true? Well, according to our analysis Professor Severus Snape knew the most about Hogwarts potions, dark arts, and other magical elements but one thing he had no idea about was that he had “SPD”!!!

SPD is “Schizoid Personality Disorder”. Hahaha, you are dying to know more about SPD! In this disorder, a person feels satisfied by staying alone, quiet, and secluded. Staying serious and unconcerned with people around is one thing that makes them calm and composed. Keeping all this in mind, the most symbolic symptom in SPD is that their sufferer always gives dispassionate, straight, and unexpressive gestures. Can you now see the similarities???

Hermione Granger - OCD

Miss Granger has been a perfect student, best and loyal friend, beautiful, and an intelligent lady in the world of magic. Hogwarts has witnessed very few witches who were clever and dedicated to the wizarding world as much as Hermione was. However, our witch was unable to figure out which disorder she had been going through!

As per our close analysis, Hermione feels to be a victim of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Being an OCD person isn’t harmful or contagious but it creates problems for people around. Do you remember when Hermione corrected Ron, “You're saying it wrong,” Harry heard Hermione snap. “It's Wing-gar-dium Levi-o-sa, make the 'gar' nice and long.”

This muggle-born has stolen our hearts. She always works to the extent that it satisfies her with its perfection. Hermione had answers to every question her professors asked because she studied hard enough to be the best. This is the most obvious symptom of OCD, as such people hate to lose and look for perfection in every single thing in their life; whether studies or professional life. Her cleanliness habits and beforehand planning also confirm her OCD. Aren’t you nodding your head in a yes!!!

Lord Voldemort - Psychopathy

Lord Voldemort has been a true villain of the story. The one who never learned from his past and never regretted whatever destruction he caused. He was the cause of many deaths like Dumbledore, James Potter, Lilly Potter, Hepzibah Smith, and Alastor Moody. The thing that has still kept Tom Riddle or Lord Voldemort alive in our hearts is the intense negativity.

Have you ever thought that what if Voldemort was heartless and merciless? Because in our view, he suffered from “Psychopathy”. People who have psychopathy are unable to love or show positive emotions even though they try. Voldemort like other psychopaths is very intelligent but is unable to see beyond his judgments. Their emotional distress makes them do all the worse deeds that they can do and similar was the case of Voldemort.

Matters of the heart were never a concern of Lord Voldemort and he kept killing people in order to become the most powerful sorcerer in the wizarding world. His traits and personality give us most of the reasons to believe that he was a psychopath. It must be put forward over here that every psychopath turns into one because of their dark past and Voldemort’s was extremely grave!

Luna Lovegood - PSD

Luna is definitely the most positive character in the Harry Potter series. Luna whenever emerged on the screen then we all knew that she would light up the whole scene. But, you must have noticed one thing about Luna (if you are her true fan), she is hard to explain because what she does and think can’t be described by anyone and even by her.

We have perceived that Luna had Schizotypal Personality Disorder (PSD). PSD is nothing that anyone should be concerned about. Such people are very different from normal people as they think, speak, and react in a distinct way (like Luna did!). PSDs aren’t very social but are very loyal to the ones whom they love. Moreover, their senses are way more enhanced than ours.

PSDs have a different world in their minds where everything is perfect. Their optimistic approach makes them everyone’s favorites like Luna is. However, people like Luna avoid people who give away any sort of negative vibes. Evils like Draco always tried to bother her but Luna never gave any certain reaction and remained nonjudgmental. Being that much optimistic and positive to the core. Luna became our all-time love (just like her name!)
