STORY OF ATLANTA SERIES

Atlanta entails the life of Earn and Alfred who are living a hard life in Atlanta, Georgia. Many dreams sparkle in their eyes but a way to fulfill them is quite blurred. In season 1, Earn has been facing loads of problems in his life as he is unemployed. He can’t make enough money to support his wife Van and daughter Lottie. Thus, Earn has to live either with his girlfriend or his parents. Having nothing in the plan to elevate his income, Earn seeks a golden opportunity. It is clear that his cousin Alfred aka “Paper Boi” is making a name in the world of rapping. People are loving his performance and he’s making a hefty amount of money.

There he plans to join his cousin in his musical journey as a manager. From here, the bond of Earn and Alfred, or we should say Paper Boi begins to excite us all. Hence, in the episodic storytelling, we see how these Bois initiate their journey from Atlanta and end up in Europe. Once they get arrested in season 2, in the US, it was quite problematic to set free. Contrary to this, in season 3, Europe prevailed on a new side. After all, Paper Boi had become immensely popular in the world with his music, and as a manager, Earn cared about all other matters. But the journey is full of highs and lows where we find that talent is subsided due to appearance.

Along with the plotline of cousins, another little boy is brought into focus in season 3. Loquareeous is just a black school boy who has to live with two white-skinned females. It was reported that Loquareeous’ parents weren’t worth keeping him. Living in the new place, Loquareeous is named Larry. There he is beginning to bring back what his parents used to say about the whites. The anger filled in his heart about the race interrupting him to have a better life.

Alfred / Paper Boi

Alfred is someone who never thought he could get through all these situations. Yeah, he loved his music and rapping but there is something missing inside him. Alfred is apparently a loving soul who always searches for fun but in actuality, he is depressed inside. He cannot find anything that can satisfy him. At first, Alfred thought he needs money to be content but it all turns out false. Even after being famous and loved by people, Alfred has a void inside. His scenes are full of comedy and we do enjoy the dichotomy of his personality.

There’s something special about you. Not many people can do this but you manage to hide your tears and keep smiling. Your sturdy willpower is something very ideal!

Earn

Have you felt that no matter how hard Earn tries, he doesn’t get the desired result? He himself quotes that his star is somewhat unlucky. At first, he didn’t have enough money and faced poverty. Then, he began to work for Alfred which definitely pushed him into a maze. Further, Earn does get hold of money but his problems do not end. Dubiety in the fact that Earn is smart and witty, people ignore but he is quite intelligent. However, his humanely stupid decisions cause him problems.

The character of Darius explains that experience matters less when you have the gift of wisdom. Davius’ actions are hilariously cool and we enjoy the scenes in which he flaunts his skills and talents.

You are someone who is passionate and keen on observation. People do not realize but you are right almost every time. The world needs to pay attention to you.

Vanessa / Van

Van is the girlfriend of Earn and the mother of their daughter Lottie hence, they have an interesting relationship. They are not in a consistent relationship but have to be together because of Lottie. Van is someone who faces several difficulties in life but tries to be supportive of Earn. No doubt we like her but at times Van pushes herself too much. Her anxiousness is worrisome as motherhood and love life ends her up in various troubles.
