Tobio Kageyama is a first-year student at Karasuno High School and a leading volley player on his school team. He was named “King of the Court” because of his dominant and controlling behavior with his teammates. However, he is working towards changing his attitude and learning the value of teamwork.
He was successful as a volleyball player and took part in the Rio Olympics in 2016. He is now a member of Ali Roma, an Italian professional volleyball team.
Daichi Sawamura
Daichi Sawamura was the captain and a wing spiker in the High School volleyball club. He was a third-year student who was a captain and acting coach in the absence of the coach. Eventually, he joined the Miyagi Police Force.
As a captain, Daichi exhibits strong leadership skills. You will see him as kind, patient, and considerate towards his team members. Though he becomes terrifying when he is angry. He becomes very strict when it comes to the discipline of his team.

Yu Nishinoya, the libero in the school’s volleyball team, is a second-year student at Karasuno High School. He was skilled and courageous, so his teammates called him “Karasuno’s Guardian Deity.” He traveled the world and started fishing for marlins in Italy.
He is energetic yet aggressive. He is boisterous and never worries about any consequences. However, he is kind and considerate towards his friends.
Ryunosuke Tanaka
Ryunosuke Tanaka was a member of the schools’ volleyball team and a second-year student in Karasuno High School. He was loud and hot-headed. He showed a bit of carelessness towards his practice but always caring for his teammates. He grew up to become a personal trainer and married Kiyoko Shimizu.
