WHAT IS "JANE THE VIRGIN" ABOUT?
Jane the Virgin's story mostly revolves around Jane who lives in Miami with his hardworking mother Xiomara and her religious grandmother. Jane is also a strong and smart girl who believes in herself and is a true catholic. Jane has vowed to stay as a virgin until she gets married. She is always confident in her decisions and never backs off from the things that she feels right about. Living a struggling life with numerous problems like immigration, fear of the government, unfriendly environment, etc. However, Jane never bows against any problem and keeps on moving like strong winds.
Destiny has made all the preparations to break Jane’s vow as a virgin girl. During a normal checkup by the doctor, Jane gets impregnated artificially. Michael Cordero
No doubt that Michael is an ideal boyfriend! His character has perfectly supported the story and brought various twists and turns. Michael was loved by all as he remained supportive to Jane no matter what the conditions were. Being an undercover police detective, Michael did his best to help his girlfriend even after the birth of Mateo.
Jane also chose this kind-hearted, loving, and understanding person but the things turned over after a few upsetting twists. Michael fought the whole world for Jane and Mateo and even risked his life several times. He has many qualities but has some human insecurities like jealousy as well. We think that Michael would fit very well into Dawson's Creek too, do you agree?

Jane has always been a sensitive child because of her incomplete family, young mother, and constricted boundaries. She never knew who her father was and this created a sort of breach in her personality. Jane had seen how much her mother struggled to give her a good life. Rafael Solano
Rafael is a person who is indecisive and takes in matters at a snail's pace. Though he is smart and girls usually fall for him easily because of his muscular body, Italian face, and of course, money. He usually has wild thunders going on inside him but pretends to be calm and in control. Rafael hasn’t lived a very satisfying childhood as his adopted parents split at a young age.
Shifting the country, loss in business, fighting cancer, involvement in some criminal activities and traps; Rafael tries to escape everything by starting life again. Being stuck in between the love of Petra and Jane, he seems to be lost. However, Rafael was able to cope and became a better person, a good father to his three kids, and a good husband to Jane.
Petra
Petra seems like a beauty goddess. With her blonde hair, blue eyes, petite figure, and charming personality she is a star of the show. She is clever and intelligent and is usually driven by her dreams and sometimes greed as well. Petra is nice and her heart beats for good if money and materialism don’t come in between. To be honest, Petra married Rafael for money and to have a better lifestyle. She eventually fell for him and even supported him during his illness.
However, the relation wasn’t made on very strong pillars and hence they went towards divorce. Petra intentionally impregnated herself and gave birth to twins of Rafael just to keep him near. Though, things didn’t go well as Rafael couldn’t forget how she cheated him with his friend and they ended their marriage. Petra realized her mistakes and began living a happy life with her family and stayed in touch with Rafael and Jane.
